After stamping the background, and stenciling several layers of paint, I attached vintage images. I stamped the skulls onto regular paper, cut them out, and colored the hearts with prismacolor colored pencils. I inked the edges of the card and sealed with Modge Podge. Finally I attached vintage game pieces with E6000 to spell the word "boo"." "Halloween Party", on the right, was made with our Calavera with Heart and Pinstriped Black Widow stamps. "Using Modge Podge I secured scrapbooking paper to a playing card. After stamping the background, I attached several vintage images. The owl card to the right was made by Laurel. She used our Owl Border rubber stamp. "To make the retro owl border card, I stamped the owl border onto a piece of cardstock that looked corrugated. Then, I stamped the same owl border onto different scrap pieces of decorative card stock from Stampin' Up. Then, I cut the owls out separately and adhered them to the owls stamped on the card. I used gold pen to embellish." Thanks Laurel! |
The bathing beauty card to the left was also made by Laurel. She used our Bathing Beauty, 40's Cherries and Bomb rubber stamps. "To make the "You're the Bomb" card, I stamped the Forties Cherries and Bomb in black ink on white cardstock from Stampin' Up. Then, I stamped the bathing beauty on a separate piece of cardstock. The cherries are flocked with Stampendous flocking. I used glitter and a glue pen to do the bathing suit and cherry leaves. The ribbon sash comes from Ki Memories."
