This card is also by Dana Seymour "Owl card: I stamped the 70s owl image (so retro 70s, isn't she?) with timber brown Staz-On and used Pearl-ex pigment powders to 'color' her in. I used distress ink on the edges and mounted it on brown CS. Then I embossed the Far Out image with white EP on the same brown CS. After looking at the colors for a few minutes, I choose some PP to match. Basic Grey Stella Ruby was the winner! I added a ribbon (actually the back side of a brown/green/pink ribbon from American Crafts) and 3 shiny metallic eyelets, and I was done." The stamps used on this card are: "70's Owl Mate" and "Far Out" Thanks for your super cool Owl Card contribution Dana! We LOVE Owls! |
This card is also by Sarah Moore "...this late 1940's early 1950's inspired card is done with all Stampin' Up! Paper and inks; Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White... the ribbon is SU! and a cute polka dot scrap I had in my ribbon scrap bin. The center ribbon slide was created on my Cuttlebug. The card has a lot of dimension too... hard to see in the picture I fear; but the center/focal image of the Saddle Shoe is up on Stampin' Up! Dimentionals." The Stamps are; "Neat!", "Cherry Pair" and "1950's Saddle Shoes". Thanks for your beautiful card contributions Sarah! |
